Emily Womack, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Emily Womack was born and raised in Bossier City. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Centenary College. Following that she completed her medical school education at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.
During residency, she served as chief administrative resident and received several awards, including recognition for her skills in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and care of high risk pregnancies.
Dr. Womack board certified in Obstetrics / Gynecology by the American Board of OB/GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Womack also offers BOTOX injections in the office.
Dr. Womack is proud to be a part of the Shreveport-Bossier community. In her spare time she enjoys being with friends and family, cooking, and traveling.

I was referred to Dr Emily by a friend after my ob/gyn moved to another hospital. I've only been to see her twice but both times I have been so impressed with her AND her staff. Everyone has been absolutely welcoming and has made me feel like she's been my Dr for years. She is so easy going and doesn't speak down to you and she will let you talk or ask as many questions as you need and she does it all with an incredible amount of patience and kindness and answers your questions with a wealth of knowledge. I'm SO glad my friend recommended her. I couldn't be happier. I would give more stars if that was an option!

If I could give more stars I would. Emily is incredible. I have had nothing but bad luck out of OBGYNs and my birth control. She is the only one I have ever had luck with. Great personality and super friendly! I won't go elsewhere!
