Melanoma Monday is May 6, as part of Melanoma Awareness Month. Ark-La-Tex Dermatology will once again conduct free skin cancer screenings in its Shreveport and Bossier offices. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, but can be effectively treated when identified at an early stage.

Screenings will be conducted by Drs. Josephine Futrell, Sarah Baker, Sarah Glorioso and Elizabeth Clemons.
