Education & Experience
After graduating from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe (now ULM), Dr. Paul was a medical technologist for four years. He was inspired to go to medical school and earned his degree at LSU Medical Center Shreveport. From there, he entered private practice in south Louisiana and east Texas, gaining additional experience. He returned to Shreveport in 2021, bringing his knowledge and expertise to women in our community.
Practice Philosophy
Dr. Paul is constantly focused on giving each patient the best possible experience. This means delivering his own babies whether he’s on call or not. Why? He explains: “Patients have built a relationship with you and appreciate when you do that for them.” He also includes his patients in the decision-making process to find a treatment that best meets their needs.
Childbirth is a special time in a family’s life, and he believe in making this time special for each patient and family.

Personal
When he’s not working, Dr. Paul enjoys family time with his children, including hunting and fishing, which are two of his favorite pastimes.
